Workshops

The Counseling Center offers workshops to support our students on a variety of topics and concerns. Workshops offer focused definitions and are customized to fit student questions and concerns. They also provide strategies for coping and often help to prevent concerns from becoming too overwhelming by having prompt and effective techniques to intervene soon.

Our workshops are centered around five themes including coping skills, personal effectiveness, academic success strategies, diversity, and substance use. Workshops are available to all MSU Denver students who are enrolled in at least 1 course credit the semester they wish to attend a workshop. Our workshops are offered in hybrid options through Microsoft Teams or In-Person as stated in the descriptions.
